Lenovo P2 - AUX Input Loose, Doesn't Keep the Headphone/Earphone Jack in Place

2018-04-19, 10:57 AM

Hello Everybody,

I bought the Lenovo P2 quite recently and its aux input doesn't work. It functions well but it doesn't keep the audio jack in, it doesn't "lock" it inside. Also, it doesn't go in all the way, and I checked to see if there was anything lodged into the hole.

I couldn't find any help in the city I live currently (Barcelona). How can I have this fixed?

Best,

M

Hi wiselunatic,

I understand you're bothered with the headset jack of your phone but I'll be happy to assist you with your concern. Just to verify, are you using a 3.5mm jack headset? Also, is this happening to other headsets? Are you using any protective case?

Try the following tips:

*Try to use other headsets to check if the issue is still persisting

* Make sure the connection is tightly fitting and secure.

* Ensure the headset is inserted completely into the headset jack.

* Remove any case or cover to ensure headset is inserted completely.

* Wiggle the connector to see if that makes a difference (it may tighten the connection)

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
