Access Connections sees no wireless sources

2010-01-02, 15:14 PM

Access connections appears to load OK except it shows NO wireless sources.

I can use wireless with zero problems if I access it by clicking the windows wireless icon in the bottom taskbar.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 & W700 2757-CTO.

Suggestions, please?

It's difficult to know BUT ...

It was my experience that in Access Connections you must configure (launch) Access Connections, click on tab LOCATION PROFILES, add profiles for the access points to which you have access, and then make sure that within LOCATIONS PROFILES, you have check marks to the left of each name profile.

If you have a different problem, may be you can explain it w/ more details.

Can also try Fn+F5 and see if the wireless card is turned on.  If so, see if you can turn it on and off.  If not, then some level of Software isn't up to snuff.  Try running System Updater to make sure everything is current.
