Re: Announcing Password Manager 4 beta-testing program

Is there a chance to find out why PWM4 in my configuration does not fill in the german PayPal credentials? It asks to swipe the finger but nothing happens.

Ronald63de,

It works for me.  Using Win7 and FF8, I go to www.paypal.de, then click on the "Einloggen" button.  I enter a fake user name and fake password and then click on "Einloggen" button.  Password Manager asks if I want to save the entry and I click "Yes".  Then I close FF8 and open it again, go to www.paypal.de click on "Einloggen" button Password Manager fills it in automatically for me.

@someotherguy:

I deleted the paypal entry and created anew one. It works fine now.

Thanks a lot.

Fews comments

a) nice interface

b) would be nice to be able to expand the windows size

c) when you organise your password list as a hierachy you (one mode) to be able to drag & drop your password items from one category to the other (like in explorer)

thanks

on some sites PWM can be a little slow, but if thats not it check the PWM settings also you might try deleting & re-enter that saved PW

Build 4.00.0022 is posted, it solved the FF8 issue, also the Windows size changed, now it looks better. I've download the file, the time stamp is 2011-11-18, but there is no any description related to these changes in the post.

someotherguy says in message 26 of this thread that the links (in message 2 ) for downloading PWM 4 were changed to the latest version 4.00.0021 but there isn't anything about changing to 4.00.0022 but that is the version its on

Do I understand that right? The link in post #2 points to the new version?
