Re: New Power Manager is Buggy and Slow

2008-12-04, 8:39 AM

I just want to write down my own experience with PM 1.30b and XP SP3.

1. PM is fast at boot up (green icon is fast up)

2. No memory leaks

That´s why I won´t update anymore, cause the system runs satisfactionally.

TIP: If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to update the system.

Re: New Power Manager is Buggy and Slow (how to get rid of ATMdump.txt file)

2008-12-04, 16:33 PM

I've got an additional interesting tidbit!

The memory leak only occurs when running a custom power profile.  If I switch to a "custom" setting for my power manger, the memory leak starts and doesn't stop when I switch back to a default profile.  The only way to plug the leak is to reboot the system AFTER switching to a default profile.  This seems to stop the leak.

I'd love to downgrade, but Lenovo only has current drivers available on the website... HELP?

Just found this thread as my 1.51 series is buggy as ever, so I went looking on my external and found 2 versions 1.30b and 1.40, hoped for 1.47 but oh well these will do.  I uploaded them to mediafire:

If you need the older power management driver (1.44) I have that too.
