System Update Problem Keeps Showing Bios Package Even After It is installed

2015-12-14, 14:10 PM

System Update Version 5 07 0019 keeps showing that a new version of Bios has been installed.  How do I clear this?  This is for an X1 Carbon TYPE 20BS-CTO1WW S/N R9-****** 15/1.  I took a very short power drop (maybe 30 to 500 ms, the house lights had short blink) while the BIOS update was being installed.

What operating system are you running?  If I understand correctly, SU is offering the BIOS update every run, even though the BIOS is already at the level being offered?

Please run msinfo32.exe and state the BIOS level shown.

Locate C:\ProgramData\Lenovo\SystemUpdate\logs\tvsu_*timestamp*.log

Upload the  Su run log to a file share utility and post the link here. I will review the log.  There may be a issue with the .XML package on the Lenovo server.
