Windows 7 conflict with TSS Core Service

2009-11-23, 19:25 PM

I upgraded to Windows 7 on an X61S and then cursor control failed in Outlook 2007 after I hit the enter key in new mail message. The solution was to disable the TSS Core Service (following help from microsoft). Now i need to find a compatible Thinkadvantage upgrade to get a upgraded TSS Core Service module. Whewre can I find that?

MY X200 also have the same problem, every time I hit the Enter Key in the Microsoft Words or the Outlook 2007 . My Mouse cursor not responding to my command. I am still looking for the Think Advantage Upgrade.

Unable to move cursor in MS Word 2007

2009-12-10, 18:30 PM

System info

Thinkpad X200

Windows 7 Pro 32bit OS

Affected applications

MS Word 2007

After opening an existing Word document, I can use the mouse to move the insertion point cursor to different parts of the document, to select objects and to highlight text.  As soon as I type anything new anywhere in the document and push the Enter key (or just push the Enter key), the mouse can no longer be used to move the insertion point to another location in the document nor can it select text or objects.  The arrow and shift keys still allow me to move around the document and select objects.

The problem seems to be caused by a bug in the Password Manager program that is included in the Lenovo Client Security Solution application.

Any official comments from Lenovo pls?

Try uninstalling the ThinkVantage Password Manager. This is the program that is causing the problem for me.

Some weeks ago I worked with word file and after something happened...When I opened this file again it was damaged.Besides  I found a good tool which solved my issues in seconds and software made it for free as far as I know-word was unable to read this document 2007.Software showed me how it export recovered content into a new file in Microsoft Word format.
