X201T: ThinkVantage not showing warranty correctly

According to Lenovo's Warranty Lookup site I have 3 years warranty + TPP. But ThinkVantage says I have 425 days left.

I'm satisfied that I do in fact have 3 yrs coverage and that my machine is simply not displaying this correctly. How do I fix this? Uninstall TV and reinstall a newer version? Or is this a BIOS issue?

Hi,

as it looks, this information is showing in your case the information on the legal and not extended waranty. 

Contact the helpdesk to check the varanty and get them to correct this.

Thanks Herik,

I already called them, had them make a ticket for it. My part was to send them proof of purchase for the warranty which I have done.

Still not fixed. I think that they think that the problem is solved because they thought that my issue was to do with the warranty itself, which is in order, when the actual problem has to do with Thnkvantage's inability to display the warranty correctly.

So i will call them again to clarify the issue.

I have the same issue with my T410. ThinkVantage Toolbox incorrectly says my warranty expires in 43 days (approximately June 15, 2011). However, when I look up my warranty online using the same Product and Serial numbers that the Toolbox has access to, it correctly shows March 17, 2013. I am comforted by knowing that it is correct online, but a little annoyed that ThinkVantage Toolbox doesn't know about it.
