I've had Eye care turned on for a long time. Today it started messing up my screenshots. I've tried taking them with the Snipping tool and Snagit. If it is turned on screenshots, get an orange overly. If I turn it off than my screenshots are ok.
I run Win10 64 bit, and latest updated are applied. I've tried to install Lenovo Vantage from the Windows store but the same issue persists.

Please check if this information helps you: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Vantage-Knowledge-Base/Screenshots-and-Snips-have-an-unnatural-o...
Basically there is no solution except to reset and turn off Eye Care mode in Lenovo Vantage.

yes, turning off eye care and moving to the 6500k is the solution. But any lower than 6500k brings the problem back.
The new problem is that 6500k is too bright and blue to work with. It really kills your eyes.
There should be another solution

I also had terrible problems because of the Eye Care problem when using the SnagIt application. Eye Care was the culprit.
Turning the Eye Care OFF would not help.
It was obviously corrupting the system settings.
The final solution (provided by SnagIt support) was to Reset both the Daytime Color Temperature and the Color Temperature in Eye Care Mode.
Why Lenovo is messing up with Screen brightness settings ??
This is totally unnecessary !
Leave it to Windows 10 built-in functionality which does it properly.
Remove the Eye Care Mode all together from Lenovo Vantage !!!
It is useless.
