In the recent ThinkPad Hotkey Features Integration package, there is a new feature called AutoScroll Utility:
In Add/Remove programs, I can see Lenovo Auto Scroll Utility.

Check these out...
At the moment, I still don't know what it actually does. But I do know it causes problems for dual screen users and it once caused problem with one of my programs.
Any insight will be appreciated. : )

I was experiencing a problem where anytime I...
a folder, Win Explorer would not refresh and show the results. i.e., I would click "New Folder" on toolbar, but no new folder would appear to be created. I would have to navigate away from the containing folder then back to it, whereupon my "New folder" would then appear.
The Lenovo Auto Scroll service appears to have been the culprit. Using msconfig, I disabled any services that seemed like they might pertain to display, then reanabled each one-at-a-time. Auto Scroll was the problem.
Bye bye, Auto Scroll

Today I've noticed that the CPU fan on my idle Carbon X1 (Intel i7 - 3667U @2,00GHz, 8GB RAM) is blowing like mad. Fired up the Resource Monitor to see what's the deal, and realised that this "utility" (lvvsst.exe) is constantly using from 40% to 55% of CPU time. As soon as I killed it, the fan slowed to a normal speed for idle use. Currently I have open Chrome with 30 tabs, and guess what? My CPU load is 5% to 7%...
I've uninstalled this "utility", and so should you...
I need to ask this: **bleep** Lenovo?!?!?!?
