Re: Lenovo Companion

Where in Companion are you expecting all your USB drives to appear? Please detail more.

In the system health/hardware, my external USB-HDD does show.

Go into windows store and let it update Companion. Current version is 3.79.0.0 .

Re: Lenovo Companion

I have the 3.79.0.0 version.
My disks appear well in storage. But when I perform a test only 4 discs appear on 6. I can't test my other disks.
I'm talking about external physical disks connected to USB

Re: Lenovo Companion

Could you provide a disk management report of shown drives on external USB-HDD?

Are we talking 1 usb-hdd or multiple usb-hdd with possible hidden partitions?

You state 4 out of 6.  Describe where you expect the other 2 partitions to be.

Re: Lenovo Companion

I only have one internal physical disk, all the others are connected to USB 3.0 or 2.0 either directly on the ports of the computer or on a hub.

Re: Lenovo Companion

What is your machine type and model?

It appears some of your connected devices(via USB ports) are true external USB-HDD and some are in USB-external enclosure-holding a Internal HDD. It this correct?

Found devices:

C+D: internal 1TB western digital

R: Toshiba 1.5TB in USB enclosure box

S: Maxtor 2TB in USB enclosure box

J: western digital 320GB in USB enclosure box

Not found:

N: trascend external USB-HDD 1TB USB3.0

H: 160GB ?????? via prolific

What is the vendor model of N and H? Are N and H plugged into USB 2.0 ports?

Does the trascend have both USB 2.0 and 3.0 support?

USB   ports used:

3.0 seagate maxtor <<S

3.0 Toshiba intenso <<R

2.0 storejet trascend             <<N
