Lately my T540P x64 (windows 10) has been randomly crashing, but that's a topic for another posting. When it comes back up tho, normally it's OK, other than a few random non-system-related apps that come back funky due to the unexpected crash. Today, however, I got a new error, and I can't seem to find anything on it:
Failed to listen ports: 50128, 50129, 50130
This may have been on the Lenovo Service Bridge load, sorry, forgot to write that down. I've found a couple of references to this exact problem on another site pointing back to here, but can't find it here, so apologies if this is a repeat.
So what exactly is this error? Is it a fail as a result of a crash or something more dire? The machine is JUST out of (4 yr) warranty, my luck, but hopefully it's something random, not something that is unfixable.

Same here. According to thinkwiki.com, "Lenovo Service Bridge (LSB.exe) is a Windows program that will automatically detect your Lenovo computer’s serial number, machine type and model. It passes this information to the Lenovo website to assist you with your support needs."
OK, so why is it trying (and failing) to listen on my ports? Is there some kind of attack being attempted through the Lenovo Service Bridge?

Hmm, have you run any very recent Lenovo updates? I have, but this problem occurred at least a week or two since I did, not sure now. And for the record, as of this reply, the error has not recurred. Yet?

As noted just now, I haven't had a repeat of this error, and the LSB is loaded as I type. Weird.
