Hello, I own a ThinkPad w541. I changed the battery a little while ago and I wanted to run a reset gauge.
I followed the procedure with the Lenovo Vantage application.
Step 1 ok (100% charge)
Step 2 ok (discharge at 0%)
I can not however perform step 3 (100% new charge).
After step 2 the notebook switches off and does not turn on (if not manually) and lenovo vantage still indicates that it must complete step 2. Others have this problem and have they solved it?

if I plug the AC i have
80% not charging (because I have charge treshold).
If I disable charge treshold the traybar say me "charging".
The behavior seems normal. I do not see anything unusual.

Now I'm not in Battery Reset procedure!!
When I tried to do the battery reset the indicator became regularly grayed out!
I launched the battery reset again.
The charge treshold is now grayed out.
The procedure goes on smoothly for step 1 (charge 100%),
then go to discharge (step 2), but when it gets close to 0, the system turns off.
And never goes to step 3 (charging to 100%)

Same problem with my T440p.

After that, I live it for some time to charge at 100% (in turn off state), and I think that's OK because the third step is charging up to 100%, but the application did not record this step.
If anyone can help, it would be great.

Once the battery is charged to 100% and dis-charged to 0% or below 6%, the battery calibration process is finished.
And the step 3 fail is reported by EC/Firmware. Please check your system if there is any latest bios update to address this error message.

I need your help, I run the Battery gauge reset by yesterday, and until now it stuck on setep 3, however the battery charging threshould control is grayed and I'm no longer able to control, I tried many times to stop the gauge reset process but it is not responding.

It won't able to cancel the gauge reset, I tried many times, it stops for a while then it's showing continue and stuck on step 3,
also I have uninstalled the Vantage app totally and install it again, I got same issue, any advise to solve it?
