Re: Lenovo Vantage Battery Conservation mode gone? Help

What a huge bummer :( is there any reason why yoga series is excluded from such important and useful feature to the customer? Its always nice to have more options for us to choose from.

Will there be any plans to add this in the future? Seeing someone requested for this a year+ ago but nothing changed.

The issue where I previously uploaded a patch was permanently fixed months ago.

The issue you may be having now is that not all models support battery conservation mode.  A previous version of Vantage mistakenly showed this setting on some models where battery conservation mode is not supported.

If you post your product number and BIOS version (as shown in Vantage) I can tell you whether your model supports battery conservation mode or not.  I'm working on publishing a list.

Hey, thanks a lot for the quick reply!
I have a YOGA 900S (12ISK), Model 80ML, BIOS version E1CN41WW.
The battery saving mode used to work, (it failed to update at some point before, so I deinstalled all the lenovo apps, and moved the remains from the "programs\windowsapp" folder) but after the recent reinstall the vantage hardware settings only shows audio/video settings - no power settings.
I´ve installed the actual Lenovo SIF. I installed levnovo vantage from the windows store.
vantage is checking for updates, but does´t seem to do anything

The information I have is that 900S with BIOS like E1CN should support battery conservation mode.  So we need to dig in to find out why it's not available on your system.  The guy I need help from is based in China and it's a national holiday this week.  So it may be next week before we can reply again.  Sorry for this trouble.

Nevermind, I got it working!
updated the BIOS; deinstalled the "Lenovo System Interface Foundation" via device manager (https://support.lenovo.com/de/en/solutions/ht506070)
and eventually after i turned WFI on and off, "Vantage" fixed itself.
Anyhow, thanks a lot for the support!

Re: Lenovo Vantage Battery Conservation mode gone? Help

Bump this thread. I have Legion Y530. I have the conservation mode in Vantage, but after doing a clean Windows installation, the option is disabled. Any ideas on how to bring back this feature? I mainly use AC power with my lappy so this feature is very important to me.

Tried reinstalling System Interface Foundation and Vantage, didn't work

Legion Y530 doesn't support battery conservation mode.  A previous version of Vantage enabled this setting by accident.

I am using Legion Y530. And I just love the "Conservation Mode" feature of  "Lenovo Vantage" app and it was working perfectly.

But some days ago, when I updated "Lenovo Vantage" app to its newer version, "Conservation Mode" feature just got turned off by "Lenovo Vantage" app.

Then I just downloaded "OneKey Optimizer for Windows 8.1 (64-bit)" from here and install it.

I got the "Conservation Mode" feature back. And now it's working again just perfectly.
I hope this will not cause any other issues with my battery.
