I could only find dead links on Lenovo site to the disk. After a long google session I found a copy of thee disc on this site:

EDIT - link removed.  The content on this link does not necessarily belong to the poster and is a licensed piece of code.

Re: PC Doctor for DOS bootable CD

fredrikswe,

Thanks for sharing those.  Lenovo has sunset ThinkVantage Toolbox in favor of the new LSC diagnostics available on the support site here.  There is a new bootable diagnostic that can be created - see last section of that page.

There may be some links in the forum that need to be cleaned up - we will try to address those as they are found.  If you find broken links on the support site, please use the site feedback function on the page where they are found to flag them for the e-support content team.

Thanks!

Mark

thanks for information on LSC. I will try if it works for Thinkpad x60s. The list of supported system only include newer Thinkpads.

Re: PC Doctor for DOS bootable CD

LSC Diagnostics says it supporst X220 and up. Documentation says that you should monitor older systems like the X60 and X201 with PC-Doctor. Now what?

Anyways, why does LSC Diagnostics says it requires 2 GB USB drive and up when it only occupies 246 MB of disk space? Pls. fix this.

Re: PC Doctor for DOS bootable CD

LTT (pc-doctor) is only available from older factory install(s).  Look in C:/Swtools.

Hi,

I found the software on this site, it worked for my T500:

The OEM version of PC Doctor is not licensed for use on any machine on which it was not preinstalled as part of the factory image.
