yesterday i was playign some btf 3 and after i finished the game i recived a notification to run system diognostic through Lenovo Vantage.
After 30 min of waiting everything is good except PCI Express system.
The laptop is new, barely used and is runing flawlessly. Then i installed lenevo Diognostic Tool and it says that the issue is with my ethernet controller , i checked and ethernet port is working without a hiccup. kindly check the details and see if u can help me my best guess is that its software issue.
As mentioned everything is working properly , device is not overhitting and comes up fast after every restart , I also have updated all fo the outdated drives.
PS : This issue happend after windows update today.

Could you try with tool below and send the test log?
and select Lenovo Diagnostics 64bit

I have the diagonostic and as mentioned smt its passes the test and smt it fails.
when it fails this is all i get
18-Jan-19 18:48:17 - Status Test
18-Jan-19 18:48:17 - Warning Fatal Error Detected in PCI device present on Bus: 0x8 Device: 0x0 Function: 0x0.
I have attached the image of lenovo diagnostic.

Could you export the log to a file, that I could sent it to dev to investigate?
Click the tools, and search the logs.
And click export log to generate log files.

So new information, my wifi card is on Bus 0x7 and my ethernet is on 0x8 , if i run the test on my wifi the error mentions bus 0x7 but if i run the test on ethernet it shows bus 0x8.
in order to check the wifi card i ran the test which was succesfull and i downloaded a 6 GB file on wifi which was the speed was constant for 2 hours (2 mBp/s).
I have exported the log that lenovo diagnostic provided me into a pdf format and i have attached it to this message.
thank you for your follow ups i hope they find a solution.

thank you ,ill wait for your reply, also i would like to add that today i booted up windows and used wifi and it passed the test again.
so i used wifi while gaming and i had couple of disconnection in maybe 3 hours of gamin, however while on LAN i have no issues no hiccup or ping fluctuation.
i have added the passed result as well in this reply

We did not see similiar warning in our internal test.
This warning is reported when diagnostic did not get expected result from PCI components.
And suspect this is not a software issue.
You could ask service to check your system when you got this warning message.

Thank you for your assistance, however since there is no issue in performance, could it be a false trigger?!
I really dont want to take the device to the manufacturer since there is a possibility it could come back with more defects.
If it is really necessary then i will take it to their shop and see if they can spot any thing which im pretty sure is going to ruin the device for me.

We suspect this is a warning message after you played game for a long time, maybe the heat will affect the stability of the device or drivers.
Did you see this warning message when the system is cool or not playing game ?
