Sometimes, if systemupdate is already installed, I get a prompt to delete some files (and so my deployment hangs).
Sadly, I can not reproduce this behaviour.
Anybody else has experienced this?
My command: systemupdate5.07.0065.exe /VERYSILENT /NORESTART
The /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES does not help.
The problem seems to be the uninstall, the following command produces the same prompt:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Lenovo\System Update>unins000.exe /VERYSILENT /NORESTART

Same here. Same messagebox and same conclusion...
This is just bad product testing... and it is not the only bug in this version. It seems nobody is testing any command line anymore.

Sorry for this trouble. We are investigating it. Can you confirm if this is the prompt you are seeing? If not, can you please post a screenshot of the prompt you are seeing?

I am not sure the cause of the message box, but I can definitely understand how it breaks your deployment. To avoid the message, please try the steps in the attached .bat file which will manually clean up the previous installation before installing the new version. Then the message box shouldn't happen.
Note that my .bat file is for 64-bit OS. If you are using 32-bit OS, then change the 2nd line to point to "Program Files" instead of "Program Files (x86)".
Please try it and let me know how it goes.

Script seems to work for me. thank you.
I only had to change the "echo y" for german OS to "echo j".
(And I removed the extraspace before the pipe, but maybe this is not relevant)

Create a .bat file with the details below. Deploy with SCCM or another method, your choice.
net stop suservice
cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Lenovo\System Update\"
unins000.exe /VERYSILENT /NORESTART /DELETE
