They are NOT serious. Period.

I've learned this the hard way.

Hello all,

I hope this message finds everyone fine, with health, and peace.

Just to let you know Motorola removed that blah blah blah best combination of sw/hw blah blah blah from the upgrade table page. (https://supportforums.motorola.com/community/manager/softwareupgrades)

Aren't they amazing? They don't even maintain their word. But, who cares with what the customer will think?! You talkin' to me? Get lost!!!

Where is the CLIQ XT upgrade?

I think it was a bit late they found out we're not that stupid. Anyway... still waiting for cliq xt 2.1 version. IF there's one, of course.  Sometimes I feel like that alien, Bilu, is the mais developer of Quench roms... (the Brazilian guys probably know what I'm talking about...)

I bought my self a Samsung Galaxy S and this thing is the state of the

art... The Samsung android development support is not a "dream coming true",

but is better than here...

I dont know why, but the Independent developers are giving a real party with

the Galaxy S. I'm using an alternative version of froyo now and I just cant

beleave Samsung will be capable tp beat this Nice work here.

Yup, Mark is alive and breathing =P

Just received a message from him today from Cliq XT 2.1 upgrade thread.

I will not remain in 1.5. Android 2.1 is so revigorating, so fast even for our Quenchies with a slow processor (not that slow).

I'm now playing Angry Birds, using Latitude and Google Navigation and customizing my own ROM. Dude, it's fast and runs 95% perfectly (not mentioning speaker and radio issue).

I'm not here to break any forum rules and I won't but I can see now how they worry about our experience as customers.

Before I believed it was a bit hard work to do because radio.img (3G, Wifi, etc) but now, after learning some treaks, I can see it's just about lazy and their money. My radio, which is version 5023, works perfectly with the new 2.1 version...

A friend told me they will not upgrade us because Quench sold not so much... even if it was true (and I think it's not), they should think about who bought. Maybe they will not win this time (in their vision) but proving to care about customers, they would sell much more phones in a future not so distant.

Anyway... Regards =D

@lgconti-

Yes it was updated to remove the wording. I agreed with the comments from you the customers that it seemed a little insulting. I worked and had it removed.

Hello @Mark,

I do appreciate all your help/support, and your respect to your company's customers. But it is very odd to see that not all employees has the same posture.

May be the company sell an internal message to the base, but at the top they are playing by different rules.

If one day you get to the top, please, don't forget where you were, your principles, and remember to treat others as you would like to be treated.

I wish you success on your career.

Thanks,

LG

Hmmmmm.... so, @Mark is alive... well, he was so quiet that... nevermind...

@LGCONTI: unfortunately, people like @Mark have a hard time reaching the company's top, because he cares with consumers, <sarcasm> and that's not the way to run a company. You should crush your customers hopes. Let them rot in hell. </sarcasm>. Anyway, it's nice to see that there are guys like him around. I know that sometimes we pushed the fence to the limits, but I'm sure he understands.

@Mark: thanks for working to avoid offending out intelligence. it was really a bit too much. but I can't avoid it: Korean's Motomix will really be out with 2.1?
