I have a great Thinkpad X1 Carbon 7th Gen, running Fedora 30. My problem is that I cannot make bluetooth work.
When I go to "Settings / Bluetooth", I can turn bluetooth ON (top right toggle switch). However, the text doesn't change and tells me that bluetooth is turned off. (See picture attached.)
➥ How to actually turn bluetooth on?
(Of course, I have checked that the bluetooth is activated in the BIOS.)

I just did a clean install of Fedora 30 and it is working for me, what Bios version do you have

Hi, thanks for your reply
I [have tried a few things](https://unix.stackexchange.com/q/541704/188538)… and I'm ashamed the reason was simply that [the bluetooth deamon was simply not running](https://unix.stackexchange.com/a/541980/188538).
(Note that it's still not perfect yet, e.g. when turning it off and on again, but at least it works most of the time.)
