Not sure if this has been mentioned but when I click on a contacts picture to bring up the other options twitter and facebook would not come up until I removed the accounts from my phone then add them back.

Using the stock account service for yahoo stuff...and it seems like the syncing is not working anymore. When I check yahoo on my computer, there are like 25 or more messages, but none of them have been synced through to my phone

As I was scrolling through my contacts, the names started to disappear. They were replaced by just the phone number. Do I have to call every number to find out who it is?

The Contacts button always opens Contacts. The Dialer widget always opens whatever you were looking at last in the Dialer. So if you were looking at Contacts, they will operate the same. Both of them can be replaced with other buttons (only the Launcher icon is fixed). You can make a Dialer shortcut that only opens the keypad if you like.

Matt, I created a new Dialer shortcut that only opens the keypad, but it won't allow me to move it to the dock.  Other apps (like Gmail) can be moved to the dock, so I know I'm doing it right.  But when I move the new Dialer keypad shortcut to the dock the + doesn't appear and it won't move.  Also, I tried to add it by long pressing on the existing Dialer shortcut in the dock, but that didn't allow me to create a keypad-specific Dialer shortcut.

It's a huge relief to be able to sort contacts by last name, and the new rolodex scroller on the right side is fantastic.

Regarding the sort:

1. You can sort the rolodex

2. You can not the Contact SEARCH

3. You would think they would work together

Thank you,

No, you can put it anywhere except in the dock. The list of apps that can go in the dock is extensive but limited.

Re: Email, calendars, contacts

OK so a couple things.  The fact that the dialer button does not automatically take me to the dial pad is stupid.  If I want to dial a contact I will open the contacts.  When I need to dial another number that is not in my contacts I should not have to use another stroke to accomplish this.  This is right now just about the most frustrating thing for me in GB.

The other huge problem is one that a lot of people have been complaining about since the inclusion of exchange support in Android.  The e-mail app NEEDS to notify you when an e-mail comes in to another folder other than Inbox. They've finally added the ability to sync these folders automatically but there is still no notification received if a new message is automatically sorted into a sub-folder by a rule in Exchange.  I hate Touchdown, it's so bloated and runs my battery down but it's the only way I can seem to get this simple notification system available.  It's almost as if Nitrodesk is intentionally paying you people to ignore this feature so that they can sell more $20 copies of their terrible software.  </vent>
