On a whim I disabled the 'Advanced IMAP' feature from GMail's Labs functionality, and for the past hour or so push IMAP on my DX seems to have been working.

like the past posts my yahoo mail was no longer syncing after the update. I removed my yahoo account, rebooted, and added it back and so far it appears to be working..

In the gmail app the white for unread and grey for already been read kind of look the same color. I don't really like this.

The copy feature doesn't work within the Gmail app. If you click on the menu key, select More, and choose "Select text", it lets you select text perfectly fine, but when you try to paste it elsewhere, it doesn't paste what you just selected.

After you select the text you have to tap it to copy it to the clipboard.  You can then paste it elsewhere.  I just tried it and it works fine.

Hi everyone. You are not going to believe this, Everything is now working perfectly! It must have been something hosed up in our Exchange server (I asked our IT guys if there were problems with Exchange that may cause this kind of stuff. They told me all is OK, must be that new software of yours) I was just sitting here in misery trying to figure out why nobody else has these issues and I do. Moto kind of helped (Thanks Michael for the call) Matt helped me get in touch with him.

So far with a working server all seems to be working as it should. I will be goung directly to the fridge for a cold Sam Adams, hope you Moto folks get some time to kick back and relax this weekend.

Sorry for the panic, I should have figured or IT guys hosed something up and were keeping it quiet until they fixed it.

Thanks. I figured it out after tapping around and finally I saw a popup saying the text had been copied. I wish there was a list of changes to basic things like this and selecting the alternate characters in the stock keyboard when pressing the period key.

I don't think my aol email in the default email app is fetching on its schedule, if at all, only fetches when I open the app. At least it fixed an odd thing where reading messages on the phone wouldn't mark them as read so they show up as new when it fetches mail again. Gmail works though.

So fat the only thing I have not seen come across seemely are all of my preset speed dials were reset. Took all of 30 secs to redo, A small thing when you consider how much othere stuff there is to get right.

Great job.

BTW, seems like battery life is improved. Will keep an eye on it once I am back to work, but for now looks great.

Thanks

K

I like the new contact widgets and the way you can customize them. More in line with how I would have liked to see them from the beginning. Much better!
