Audio quality of vibe x3 after marshmallow update

2016-07-01, 18:06 PM

Guys, what do you think about the audio quality of our vibr x3 after the marshmallow update?

I think it really went down as their much boasted saber dac and turbo hifi are not working now... You won't feel it in ordinary headphones... But those of you who were using premium quality headphones will really miss that powerful beat the previous version was having.

I agree. Speakers sound ordinary now, devoid of any depth. Turning HiFi on and off has no effect on output. My ATH-M40X sounds kinda toned down now.

I hope Lenovo is reading this. Please fix this in the next update.

Same here . Got a new pair of head phones to test it out .But the so called turbo Hi-Fi is not working ,either due to buggy software or  DAC not working the way it should . More I read about it seems like a gimmick .

Problem solved

Install quick short cut maker from play store.... Create a high quality audio shortcut.... Access it... In options click headphone settings.... Select hd 650..... Restart your phone.... And your phone will have that old audio quality back.

The turbo hi-fi + dolby implementation is buggy .    It has a mind of its own . Some time both dont work ;  Some times both work  and I cant turn of either ; Some times only one works  and I cant turn on the other   .  For sure the turbo hifi button doenst work properly .

Ideally we want turbo hifi ONLY while driving   large headphones ,so that there's less batter drain .
