VIBE X3a40 S237 update

2017-12-20, 7:17 AM

Dear team,

Thank you for providing us with the above mentioned bug fix update.

And I would like to bring to your kind attention that  this update has adversely resulted in a battery drain which has led to charging the device atleast thrice a day.

To be technically precise, software is consuming 79% with the Android System topping the list and Hardware consumes the remaining 21 % which is vice versa during the former days when device lasted for 1.5 days with 6 hrs + of screen on time.

I would like to assure you that this problem is not restricted to my device and lot of other users are also affected by the same with mere 3hrs of screen on time.

We as Vibe X3 users kindly request you to look into this issue and provide a  recovery as soon as possible.

Regards,

Larsen J.

Hi Larsen7,

We understand that it is very hard if you're having this issue on the phone. We can try to help. You can try to calibrate the phone.

To calibrate the battery, press and hold the Power button until the screen goes dark, about 7-10 seconds. When the screen goes dark, release the Power button and the phone will automatically reboot. Plug the phone in and let it charge overnight, using only the charger that came in the box with the phone. Observe the battery performance within 24 hours.

Regards,
Rica

Can you show us a screenshot of your battery usage? Please update your profile with current phone, carrier, and serial number. Also, please provide the current SW Version on your phone -- this will help me investigate.
