How to start the Actions automatically in SmartAct

2012-07-25, 16:05 PM

I set up a Action in my XT910 with opening the WIFI at 0600 in the morning.

It's OK to open the WIFI.

But in the same Action, I also set up to start the mail, news and weather service after the WIFI option.

It doesn't work for these three services to access/download the related data automatically.

How can I modify this Action in order to start the WIFI and download the mails, news and weather service by itself?

Thx.

William

If one is dependent on the other, maybe create 2 seperate actions with different time frames...

Turn on Wifi at 5:45

Turn on email/news/weather at at 6am

These would be 2 seperate actions. If the Email, news, weather have a long sync interval, you may have to start them sooner and wait. If these are manually syncing apps, there is no way to force them to sync.

For news and weather, you could maybe launch the website, or try launching an RSS app (newsreader) that has an option to sync when it opens.
