Silence Notifications?

2012-10-19, 12:53 PM

I found a post from March of this year, that silencing text and calendar notifications was something that was on the list for the Smart Actions team.  Anyone know if there has been any progress on this, or other workarounds for shutting those off at night in a semi-automatic sort of way?

Or you can just "Disable Mobile Data" during that time and you won't actually get anything that will trigger the notifications. If you don't want to hear them then, you probably don't care if they sync.

Honestly, no one will know until an update is released.

It has been a while since we saw any smart actions updates, and with the moto layoffs it is hard to tell what projects will get priority.

All we can do is wait and see.

Take a look at the "Light Flow" APP.

It allows you to set a time to turn off notifications.

Disabling the mobile data is a great idea for texts!  I don't suppose it would also silence calendar notifications, would it?

I'll also check out that "Light Flow" app.  Thanks, jonhan!

Disabling mobile data will not prevent text messages from coming in, they don't use mobile data.
