Smart Actions Negative Trigger - Rarz Maxx

2012-04-09, 23:35 PM

What I mean is that you can put a "Negative" trigger to kickoff a task.  In otherwords, if I am NOT at HOME, the perform xyz task.  One task that I want is to turn on my BlueTooth when I am NOT at HOME.  Now I need to go down the road each way until I can set a location to enable the Trigger.  Thoughts?

I completely agree as a programmer that we need more than just AND statements. OR, NOR and NAND condition modifiers would make smart actions vastly more flexable.

Hi drw3200,

I agree, its a popular request and the Smart Actions team is aware of this.

RickBoiter,

Other than a "NOT" condition what do you think would be the top 1-5 statements, ranked in order. We want this app to be as useful to techies and common folk alike.

I concur that NEG is vitally necessary.  OR and grouping (i.e. parentheses) are necessary, as well.  Following those three, XOR, NANDs and NORs are nice-to-haves, just for completeness.
