Mxpt17,

Thank you for contacting Motorola Mobility with the Smart Action setup.

Here is the link to more information on how to configure the Smart Actions:

https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/72041/kw/Smart%20actions/p/30%2C6720%2C8112/session/L3RpbWUvMTMyMTI5MjE2Ny9zaWQvMlFVeWk2Sms%3D

Additionally, if you are configuring an Event based on the Timeframe, click on the time frame Trigger, and that is where you can make modifications to triggers or Add new Triggers.

Hope this helps,
Moto_Andy

Re: Smart Actions: Only recognizes time and not date

I configured the Smart Actions in the correct manner the phone still can not even tell the difference between what day of the week it is.

"off topic"

and that is just the start ... the screen locks up for no reason the phone becomes red hot after charging and remains hot for an extended period so you can not put it in your pocket it also can not seem to keep a constant connection with the optus network.

So i returned the Phone to the Store and when i was told they would send it away to be checked and or replaced

i said don't bother and left the phone in store for them to do what they wish with it as i no longer wish to waste my time with a rubbish phone.... i hope they did the world a favour and throw it in the Bin !

.............. but thanks for your help with Smart Actions Moto_Andy

New Razr owner here.  I can also confirm that the Timeframe trigger doesn't work correctly with respect to setting a time AND specific days (not just all days of the week).

I have an "Office" time frame (08.45 start, 17.00 end, Tuesday & Thursday only) used in a smart action to set the phone to vibrate when the trigger condition is met.  Unfortunately, this trigger fires every day between those times which means it isn't taking into account the day.

This looks definitely like a bug, any chance of a fix?
