My laptop is a z5070 model
There is no update for the Meltdown Specter cavity
My Processor Series 4 is the exact name of the 4210u
But the bios has not yet been upgraded and also the processor is not .....
Why Lenovo does not do anything!
Did you forget this model?

This is a reply to someone I gave with a different model, but in a similar situation:
Does that help answer your question?

The equivalent professional laptop line-up (e.g. ThinkPad T440) has received the BIOS update with the new microcode. What is Lenovo waiting for? Will it just make distinctions in a matter of IT Security, no less?

Lenovo, and all other computer manufacturers, are waiting on Intel to provide information on when it will be releasing the patches for its processors, so until Intel provides a schedule for releasing the patches Lenovo is waiting in limbo like everyone else. Once the patches are released by Intel, Lenovo will then have to certify them as well, so it will not be any time real soon.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the fact is that the new microcode is available and the equivalent Lenovo business line-up (e.g. Thinkpad T440) has already received the updated BIOS. I'm okay with waiting, but I'm worried it's going to be for nothing, since this laptop model is not even showing in said support page.

Lenovo has updated the LEN-18282: Reading Privileged Memory with a Side Channel security advisory nine times this month (so far), or about once every two days. Please check back in a few days to see what's been added.

I just contacted Lenovo Italy Support Team about the BIOS update for Spectre mitigation and, after some time investigating, a representative told me that my CPU (i5-4210U), according to their specialist team, is not affected by the none of the vulnerabilities and so I should be safe.
That's just stupid, I would have much more appreciated they just being honest and admitting that they don't give a **bleep** about their 2-year-old consumer line-up.
Seeing that other companies (e.g. Dell) are on point on this issue, I hope that Lenovo will rectify this course of action and release an update for us consumers too, or else I will not be buying a Lenovo machine ever again.
