Virus problem or ThinkVantage update problem ?

Hello,

I tells you my problem

I have not used my L540 since January 15 and when I restarted yesterday, I was on the net without having made any updates beforehand (Adobe Reader, Adobe Flashplayer, Firefox, Windows10). Since then, at each Windows logon I have this RunDLL popup message "problem when starting C:\Program Files(x86)\ThinkPad\Utilities\PWMTR64V.dll. The specified module was not found."

Someone to help me understand ?

Re: Virus problem or ThinkVantage update problem ?

That is used by Lenovo Power manager which is not supported in windows 10.  Go to the control panel and uninstall it.

Re: Virus problem or ThinkVantage update problem ?

I can not found any Lenovo PM entry on my computer, I suppose PowerEngage done the job.

But, it may have corrupted the Windows registry ?

Can You tell me how to repare it on W10 ?

B. Regards
