Lenovo Watch X - Blood Pressure Sensor?

2018-07-16, 10:39 AM

Hi Lenovo Forums!

I just imported the Lenovo Watch X from Hong Kong. I saw a lot of promotional posts on the internet that the device has a blood pressure sensor. I cannot find this function in the app or the watch.
Please help me! Does the watch have a blood pressure sensor? How can I activate it?
I wanted to give the watch to my father on his birthday who has problems with his blood pressure.
It is really the only reason I bought it.

Thank you for your help!

As far as I know there are 2 versions. One standard and the explorer edition that has blood pressure and another sensor. I only found the standard around. Where did you get yours?

Now it seems that Lenowo Watch X and Watch X Plus have exactly the same functionality. Probably software update will make additional sensors of X Plus to work. I hope so, I it won't happen I will be very dissapointed, to pay extra monex for features that doesn't exist.

I have the Watch X Plus too, and the blood pressure sensor is working for me. It's not optimal, but it's working.

My firmware version is 0.3.3, the watch arrived already with this version. The app is the latest version from playstore.

Not sure if this made a difference but what I first tried is measuring from within the app. I've posted the screenshots step-by-step below.

At first it only showed 72bpm constantly on the app so I thought it wasn't working. But the sensor now is. Even directly on the watch. Only problem is that the screen deactivates so quickly (3s?).

You have to use the hand that does NOT wear the watch here. I made the mistake of using the watch hand and bpm would stay at 72 constantly. :smileyvery-happy:

Ah sorry, my bad. I didn't see the difference. Language issue. I personally had only expected the heartbeat, so I wasn't disappointed. Sorry then!

The I agree, I don't think this function is included at all. Maybe the same mistake in language I had.

New app and new watch firmware has brought blood pressure functionality. I'll try it later since need to calibrate it
