Re: Watch 9 Firmware Upgrade to version 0.4.0 led off to Low Battery

2018-11-23, 11:34 AM

I also had the same problem, yesterday I took out the battery, but the problem came back. Today some hours ago I took out the battery for 10 minutes, and it has been working good for hours

Same crap with "Low battery" after Firmware upgrade. The watches are 1-2 months old!

I tried to remove the battery for a longer time, also tried to reset the watch pushing the little button near the battery and even replaced the battery with a brand-new one. May be the first time I connected after each of those actions I got everything ok but then it appears again the "low battery" message and the "4 blinks" or the quick blinking behaviour.

By the way, after all that tinkering I have like copper filaments over the screen :(

Hi all! Same problem for me. My white watch, two weeks of life, after the firmware upgrade went to low battery. First I thought it was really a battery problem (perhaps the seller had it for months) so I took the other watch 9 I have (the black one, for a Xmas gift) and... same thing. After the long pressure of the button it works for a couple of minute and then again nothing.

Just try to remove the battery for a couple of minutes and then put it back - switch on the watch by pressing the button on the side and it should work, showing a full battery.

Re: Watch 9 Firmware Upgrade to version 0.4.0 led off to Low Battery

It was good while it lasted.

I recently noticed that my Watch 9 would not sync with the smartphone and realized that tI had a low battery warning (multiple led flashes) when I tried to enable the bluetooth on my Watch. I repeated the process (removed the battery, put it back on, even pressed the reset button twice) and it worked for a couple of days.

Today the same issue appeared again, so I cannot connect my Watch 9 to my smartphone. I will ditch Watch 9 and use my Timex wristwatch until a new firmware is released addressing the issue.

I am really disappointed by the lack of support, as this issue has been around for several days, without any official response from Lenovo.

Gee, it cannot be that hard to fix this one!

Same thing here: since 2 weeks random behaviour from watch. Disconnects, 1 flash, 4 flash, 15 flash randomly when trying to reconnect/reset, etc. Removing and reintroducing battery only works for some time.

Guess have to wait for next update, that will revive my watch.... ?
