I have the same issue with my Lenovo Watch 9 and thought it was my devenice's problem. In fact, I uninstalled and reinstalled the Watch app, and then I could not even login to the app using my credentials!
However, I wouldn't hold my breath for that; Lenovo staff failed to solve the terrible issue caused by the latest firmware update (0.4.0) and have yet to provide a stable, working one since last year...
Awful customer experience, pathetic customer support :-(

same here with lenovo watch 9...
honestly i though that Lenovo was a good brand to trust in but, I think I will never buy anything else from they, got my Lenovo tablet A10-30L wich first fried his motherboard with an update, after repaired with new updates works very freeze and cannot find an older firmware nor they provide it so i can downgrade my tablet
and now the Watch 9 problems, first it stops because of battery when the watch say its full life (and battery id emptied after 6 months instead of 1 year like said on advertisements), now this servers issues and others we had, gg wp...

The truth is that this issue cripples the functionality of the watch, as data about sleep and steps cannot be synced with the server, so I guess they will not be available afterwards. I keep track of my sleep patern and distance walked each day, so for me this is a major issue.
I am pretty sure that Lenovo will not bother fixing the server issue, as they haven't bothered fixing the issues with latest firmware 0.4.0, the issue with the weather info not working outside China, tha badly translated menu options of the app.
I am deeply disappointed by the total lack of support and will not prefer Lenovo products in the near future (I am already owner of both laptop and tablet by Lenovo, btw).

I have the same issue with the watch x plus. The app only shows the steps of the day. Will there be another app in the future?. Lenovo life for example. I use ipowerful app.
