Re: Can I use a Samsung galaxy s10 with Star Wars Jedi challenges headset?

Hello @KateKoolkitten!

It is yet to be announced if Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone will be compatible or can be used for Star Wars: Jedi Challenges game.

You can also check this link to see the list of compatible iOS/Android smartphones that can be used for the game.

Hope this helps you out, thanks!

Patience you must have, my young padawan.

Re: Can I use a Samsung galaxy s10 with Star Wars Jedi challenges headset?

I looked yesterday, and saw that the app has a galaxy s10 and s10+ profile, and the phone fits in the case.  Using some stringed together adapters, the phone worked in the AR set in the Jedi Challenges game (though I am waiting on the proper cord to arrive to actually make everything work perfectly).  I went with the STARTRC Durable Micro USB to Type C USB Cable for DJI Mavic Mini/ Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom/Mavic Air/Mavic Pro/Platinum/Spark Data Cable 2Pack
from Amazon, as the short cable from it would apparently work, though any USB type c to micro usb cable that supports data should do the trick, where an angled plug and short cord would be preferable to fit the housing).

So, it does apparently work now, though you would need to buy a new USB type C to micro USB cord.

Edit: while the adapter that comes with the S10 plus works, the above mentioned cord does not.  I will edit when I find a working cord.

Oh wow, thank you Killandros for such a detailed reply! Thank you, that’s such a relief as I have bought it for a Christmas present and didn’t realise the recipient had upgraded to an S10 so if we can add another cable to make it work that’s perfect! Thanks again for your help

Re: Can I use a Samsung galaxy s10 with Star Wars Jedi challenges headset?

The cord that worked was the AmazonBasics USB Type-C to Micro-B 2.0 Short Charger Cable - 6 Inches (15.2 Centimeters) - Black.  The housing does not close with this, but everything is firmly in.  Using angled adapters (USB-C to USB-C and micro USB to micro USB) should allow the housing to close, but I won't really bother with this for the time being.

So you're saying that my s10+ will work with the headset if i use the adapter that comes with the phone?

Re: Can I use a Samsung galaxy s10 with Star Wars Jedi challenges headset?

Yes and no.  The adapter plugs in directly to the phone, but is a bit bulky to fit within the bracket that holds the phone it place.  The only way I could see it working is if you physically cut the mounting bracket to give maybe an eighth of an inch more space for the adapter that comes with the phone (even doing this, note that there would be no way to close the headset door, but this should not be an issue.  You would need a proper USB c to micro USB adapter, such as the amazonbasics one that I used in the end to properly use the mounting case bracket to hold the phone properly in place.

And we're back...

Move delayed but still coming
