H17txt using MotoSpeak - caller identification

2010-06-30, 15:33 PM

When my bluetooth is connected to my device and I receive a phone call the bluetooth device (H17txt) says "Call on Phone 1" and then has its own ring.  It does not use the ring tone of my phone.  This is preventing the bluetooth device from speaking who is calling because it just uses this ring.

Has anyone been able to get a spoken notification of who is calling using this device?  If so, could you point me in the right direction? I read the forums and user guide and can't find anything.  I know it has to work as there is an option in MotoSpeak to enable caller id.

Thanks for any assistance.

THis works on my Droid 2, but when I have both my Droid 2 and my Blackberry Bold connected if I call my Droid 2 from my Blackberry it puts my Blackberry on hold and hangs up the call. If I do it the other way around, my blackberry will allow me to route the audio to the handset and so it will work.
