Identify x3650 M4 Nic card Part Number

2021-02-22, 4:51 AM

HI Team,

I have installed esxi 6.5 OS on my  x3650 M4 server.

Below NIc card been installed in my server.

I am working remotely and require need to identify the Nic card Part Number to confirm what type of this card

Generally I found below Nic card :

1) Intel Corporation I350 Gigabit Network Connection

2) Intel Corporation 82580 Gigabit Network Connection

I need confirm this nic card "Intel Corporation I350 Gigabit Network Connection" whether it is T4, T2 something like That, eg: Intel I350-T2 2xGbE BaseT Adapter / Intel I350-T4 4xGbE BaseT Adapter

I feel part number can be used to confirm the hardware type.

Any special command available to be run in BOMC CLI or Esxi cli

Please update.

Hi Sir,

Refer to this VMware article: Network cards not detected on an ESXi/ESX host (1034782)

You can also access the vSphere web client, click on the host-> Configure-> Physical adapters under Networking-> click the Device you want to query, the device name will be displayed at the bottom.
