Windows boot on NVME with X3650M4

Hello,

 

I am trying to deploy a windows 2012 r2 server using Intel P4600 NVME installed in X3650 M4.

 

I am booting using windows iso and installation on p4600 seems to be ok.

 

But imposibble to boot.

 

In uefi, i cannot see any entries for P4600.

 

Any idea how i can fix this ?

I'm not aware of NVMe support on the x3650 M4; so it's possible the system will see the drive, but being able to actually use it as you are expecting under Win2012R2 may not work as it officially was never supported (tested) and was never a purchased option for any of the x3650 M4 platform(s).

Hi VincentDV,

Your NVME drive is not supported in this X3650M4 system, you can refer to below link and select "Storage" in "Part Family" to find the compatible SDD for your demands.
