Our problem is the following:
We have several IBM servers, but different models, only two of them are X3550 M4. During the last weekend there was a scheduled power off in our Institute, and when the power came back all the servers turned on without any problem, but these two show "board" error on the diagnostic panel. Both are connect to an UPS with others that turned on without any problem.
Something with this exaclty model is happening because it is not a chance that every other models turned on and these two not and show the same error! Maybe it is a hardware problem very easy to solve.
We have already checked the battery and in both are ok.
has anyone solved this problem or know how to fix it?

Can you physical access the system? If yes, you can open the cover and check the LEDs on the system board to identify the component that caused the error.
If not, follow my colleagues previous update and log into IMM web for more error details.

Here is the suggested actions to correct the detected problems on the Light path diagnostics LEDs.
|BOARD||An error has occurred on the system board or the system battery.||1. Check the LEDs on the system board to identify the component that caused the error. The BOARD LED can be lit due to any of the following reasons:|

2. Check the system-error log for information about the error.
3. Replace the failing component:

Mostly for this kind of behavior you can take one minimum configuration test if it still not came back after an AC cycle, that's one processor, 1 memory, one PSU, FANs, planar. If the server can power on with these minimum configuration test, you add the other parts one by one can troubleshoot which part failed.
