Basically I have made two unattended USBs for firmware. One with IMM2, DSA, UEFI and one with UEFI only.
1. In the case of the UEFI only unattended USB (installing v 2.80 btw) the server will boot to the USB, load the update and then the server will shut down. Only on the next manual power on will the server flash the UEFI.
2. On the UEFI/DSA/IMM2 unattended USB the server will also boot to USB install DSA and IMM2 updates then also power down. To install the UEFI update I have to power the server up, boot to the USB again and the UEFI update will install and power down the server again. On next power on event the UEFI flash will actually commence.
How do I make this process truly unattended? My desired outcome is plugging in a USB with desired firmware, booting to USB once, and having the unattended process complete all updates and reboots as necessary. Right now it appears the updates that require reboot will actually powerdown the server and require my manual intervention (power on server) to complete the update.
Thanks for any help.
