Re: Ericsson f3507g doesn't appear under Vista32 anymore (but works under Ubuntu Linux 9.04)

X200 WinXP: Bought a Dell 5530 which is a rebranded Ericcson F3507g. After hardware install X200 doesnt boot: 5530 not Whitelisted. I installed a modified Bios with Whitelist bypassed. Now WinXp Devicemanager lists the Dell 5530. However: Dell driver does not install because it is not a Dell Notebook. Lenovo driver does not install because it is not a Lenovo card. How do I get a driver installed for this rebranded EriccsonF3507g. How does WinXP match driver to equipment and how can I fool it to use a "standard " F3507g driver? Devicemanager shows "Device Instance ID USB\VID_413C&PID_8147\3558620223087730" Or is there a way to reflash the Dell5530 to look like a standard F3507g?

Did you find a way? I'm in a similar situation I believe. Windows XP detects the card but won't take the Lenovo driver... I have X200 as well.

Looks to me a lot of people have this issue but how to get it working with only WIndows 7installed?

All of my lights are on for Wifi and WWAN but Windows 7 simply doesnt recognise it.  A couple of times my laptop has failed to boot and says I must remove the WWAN before contining.

Cant seem to find a clear answer anywhere why it does work?

I run into the same issue, but after re-enabling it on Linux it only works after I reboot. If my system enters sleep mode in Windows it doesn't appear anymore. I have to hibernate to bring it to life again. Is there a way I can repair my card? It worked just fine until I got the bad idea of playing in Linux.
