Feedback: Is the In-Device support material helpful?

2010-10-20, 19:56 PM

You may have noticed that the support material for the application is streamlined into the app. Please give us feedbackn on how we can improve the information that so you can get the most out of task manager.

The task manager is very helpful and the notification is very useful. I only had one question, should my gmail application be added to the auto end list. I am thinking that it should be, but if so will I still receive my e-mail notifications?

Dear Mark,

You said that all the motorola sets have inbuilt Task Manager.Whether my Milestone 2.1 Update 1 is having one?On seeing your downloadable instructions on 20.October,2010 to press O to see the task manager,I am little confused.My set has no such button.So please help by advising me how can I see the inbuilt Task manager.Being unaware of this I have installed a Task Manger by Adao Team from the market. Is it a good one?It seems to be giving problems to me.When I try to download something from market the download pauses indefinitely.Also at times the gprs network breaks up.What might be the cause?If there is no inbuilt Task Manager in my phone,please suggest a good one to download from the Market.

Thanking you,

pnsdhrn

Only Motoblur phones will have Motorola Task Manager.

@Jimmy

No i wouldn't recommend using Gmail to auto end list as this could inhibit mail delivery.

I recently asked about using Task Manager (to kill tasks) on the D3 forums and the response was not good. Mostly, as reported on web sites, it wasn't recommended to use a task manager to kill tasks in Android and that was pretty much the response I received.

To be useful, this would need to kill some of the Verizon installed apps and keep killing them when they start up. Example "IM", "MediaManager", etc.
