BSOD Issue with ThinkBook 14s Yoga ITL-Type 20WE

Hello,

I have been using ThinkBook 14s Yoga ITL-Type 20WE from almost 4-5 months now but last week I installed a new windows after which I start to see BSOD very often. I installed another windows (currently Windows 11) but am still facing the BSOD issue. I have tried resetting the BIOS also but still problem of BSOD persists and laptop restarts immedietly in 2 seconds which makes it hard to see the error message on BSOD. Any suggestions to resolve this issue ?

Does the BSOD come up on Windows 10? Have you tried installing the drivers? If not, you can manually get it  here: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkbook-series/thinkbook-14s-yoga-itl/20we/downloads/driver-list/

 

And also, kindly provide the machine type model / MTM (ex. 81C70000RK or 20UD000BUS) from the sticker usually under the case?

 

This would help us detail more about your machine variant while keeping the confidentiality of your serial number.

Thank you for your kind response. The MTM for Thinkbook is MTM: 20WE001KCD. The BSOD Issue also was on windows 10 and I had tried the auto drivers update from windows. Now I am trying to update the drivers for windows 11 as the link sent by you. I will updapte you if the problem still persists after the drivers update. Thanks

Hello, I just finished installing all the drivers again and the BSOD problem still persists.

Do you have the exact error message or can you take a screenshot or a photo of the BSOD message so we could check the details?

 

Where did you get the Windows OS that you installed recently before the BSOD came up?

The Windows OS is legit and have bought it from University packages. The BSOD issue was occurring on windows 10 and I changed the windows to windows 11 but still the BSOD issue come up often. 
I am not able to take a screenshot or picture as only 1-3 seconds of BSOD and then system restarts.

Try installing the OEM package to isolate the issue.
