Backlight not working

Just received my Lenovo Thinkbook 14S. I cannot get the keyboard backlight to work. Neither the Space Bar nor the FN Spacebar bring on the backlight. The other hotkeys work but this one is not working. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Re: Backlight not working

I have had my ThinkBook 14S for almost a month. I noticed that there are two levels to the Keyboard backlight. Hold FN while pressing the spacebar for the first level of brightness and press the spacebar a second time for highest brightness setting. I've noticed that the first level brightness is barely noticeable even in pitch darkness. However, the second level brightness works well. I think Lenovo needs to issue a recall to fix this because the first level of brightness has no useful brightness.

Re: Backlight not working

There are 2 levels of Backlight brightness

1. Low

2. High

I would use the first level if the area is just a bit dark but at the complete night I would use it at high
