Charge via USB possible for Lenovo ThinkBook 15p (20V30038MB)

2021-11-23, 20:45 PM

Hello,

I'm considering buying the Lenovo ThinkBook 15p (20V30038MB).

Is it possible to charge this notebook via USB (of I buy the correct docking station)?

Our work laptops (also Lenove) have this option with the Lenovo docking station. And can I use the power-button on the docking station to launch the notebook (even if it is closed)

Thanks

 Tom

Hi,

This is a little off my home turf but it looks like the answer is no :(

"USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 (support data transfer only)"

Thanks for the feedback.
An additional question. If I connect this portable to such a docking station will it still use/recognize the keyboard, mouse, UTP/LAN connected to that hub?

I'm thinking of buying https://www.philips.be/c-p/276B1_00/monitor-lcd-monitor-met-usb-c-dock , and connect those peripherals.

That I still need a power supply for this portable is OK

Kind regards,

 Tom
