I have updated from 1809 to 1903 and the PC has now gone really slow and having issues with admin rights, I have chkdsk'd and scannowed but no issues found. Tried an inplace update in case windows was corrupted and get the message some hardware on this PC is incompatable with 1903 update. Can anyone shed any light in these issues please. I have had to revert to 1809 to make the PC useable again.
Thanks in anticipation.

It hasn't been a month since 1903 was formally released (May 21.) I'm reading that other manufacturer's Haswell systems are getting the same hardware not compatible message, so it could be a case of Microsoft working through some issues. I suggest waiting a month, and check the Lenovo "Systems tested with 1903 list" for E73 to be listed. I recall a couple of feature releases ago, it took a while for my M73 to be listed.

Both my ThinkPad T430s and my ThinkCentre M92p got the 1903 update with no problem (the M92p jumped directly from 1803 to 1903). OTOH, my non-Lenovo PC, which uses all mainsteam components, got a message from Windows Update saying it wasn't quite ready yet with no real indication of why. The "learn more" page did not help.

I got this notice on my M73 with 1809 today (it uses the same BIOS as E73, so motherboard is the same), when running a manual 'Check for updates'. I advise waiting until getting a notice that 1903 is ready for this model system before updating:
Update: Interesting, neither of my other two similar generation 1809 systems (but laptops, with mobile processors rather than the high-wattage desktop processor on the M73), are showing this notice after running a manual update on them.

OK, fair enough.
