Diagnostic failure NOT remedied by installing a new Motherboard OR Restoring to Factory Level?

I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre M55 8808-8HU System.


It came with Lenovo Version of PC Doctor Version 5.


I used PC Doctor ad it Failed to complete the Video Card / Memory Test.


As it began the test, it completed one task after another indicating positive results.


When it began the Test where it "appears" to go into a DOS Mode, doing iteration after Iteration of Local Video Memory tests, it got to iteration 216 of 240 and it Fails, ReBoots the System and presents a Message from Microsoft that the System has recovered from a real bad error and needs to report the error codes to Microsoft.


I complied and off went the Reports.


I tried updating every Driver I could find or anything to include updating the BIOS.


These actions did not change anything - same Test, same Failure in the same place.


I called Lenovo/IBM and they dispatched a Tech who replaced the Motherboard and the Video Memory.


Nothing changed - same Failure at the same place.


While this was occuring, I replaced the Systems Memory just incase.


I also upgraded the Version of PC Doctor.


Bottom Line is: everything I know to do has been done but the Failure remains.


Is it a "just live with it" situation or might there be something I have overlooked?


Today I Restored the Hard Drive to Factory Level and the System Failed just as it had before.


Is there any reason to "suspicion" the actual Diagnostoc Software = ThinkVantage?


Could it be the source of the failures?


I'd appreciate you positive input.
