Here is the official supported adapter list from the Nvidia driver Readme file that I reference in the top pinned "Read First ..." thread. To that you can add the GT 1030 DDR5. Higher spec cards will need a power supply upgrade and case cooling. This system has been around long enough that most questions have be answered before, use the search engine above.

Yw. If you have a specific app or game you wish to upgrade for, they usually publish hardware requirements.
Oh, I will just use it for dual monitor.

The integrated Intel graphics supports dual monitor, it has a VGA and a DisplayPort (DP) video port. The DP can be turned into any other video standard using an adapter, like DP to DVI, or DP to HDMI. 'Cable Matters' is my preferred adapter brand.
