Re: Graphics Card required - Please Help with Spec

My apologies, I've been a little mixed with exactly which products I've been looking at.

The Quadro FX550 is by PNY, which I believe is in partnership with NVIDIA, retails at £1650,
The Quadro FX5600 also by PNY, again, I belive also with NVIDIA, retails at £1900
The Quadro FX4600 is advertised as an NVIDIA, retails at £1150.

It was the FX550 that I was most interested in with reviews and also that it was recommended by Aveva Solutions for their PDMS product.

Nevermind, I see now there are different types.  I assume you are looking at the 1024MB Version?

Yeah, 1024 version, was also looking at the 1.5 gig version but ruled it out as it was a bit overkill.

Since the Graphix Card Adapter is on the Riser Card, could you get a different Riser with 16x ?
