I bought a Lenovo Thinkcentre edge 3414 CQG on an auction. It seems to work ok, because when I start it, it comes up with a login screen for windows 7 professional. Of course, I don't have the password. I only have the PC,keyboard and mouse. No CD's or documentation. On the bottom at the back I have a windows 7 pro licence.
How can I reset this to factory settings with a clean version of windows?
I searched already a bit here and tried already:
Press F11 during boot: Gives me the language choice box, but then comes up again with the same username/pwd box.
Press F2 during boot : Gives me the only option "Windows" to choose from and when I select that windows starts with the user/pwd box
Press F8 during startup : has an option "repair the computer", but when I select that I get into the same sequence as pressing F11.
Any other ways to to a clean factory reset?
If not, is there a way to somehow get ridd of the pwd box when windows starts up??
