Good day All,
I am using a M83. I think it came with a Norton Internet Security software pre-installed and I should have uninstalled it. In anycase, it is not listed on the Programs list.
After more than 6 months of using the computer I now get a notification to renew the Norton Internet Security subscription - several times a day.
Could anybody advise how I can stop these notifications?
A search of my folders lists a Norton Internet Security folder under Program Files\Common Files\AV. In the folder are two files:
1. Upgrade.exe, and
Can I safely delete this folder together with these two files? Would that stop the notifications?

Go to the Norton website and download the uninstall program.
Security programs are so integrated with the OS, that doing an uninstall from the Program page under the Control panel doesn't remove it all, and many security providers (Norton, Symantec, etc.) have an uninstall program to download and run.
I run it, reboot, and run it a 2nd time to ensure it is all gone.

Many thanks for sharing. Apologies for the late response to your post.
I have not had the time to do this little bit of maintenance on my pc. But, somehow the notification just stopped recently.
In anycase, I have noted your suggestion and that of NortonSupport, who has provided a link.
Thanks again and all the best. Cheers!
