Lenovo ThinkCentre M725s boot issue

Having an issue with a m725s when imaging the PC it boots fine then on restart it comes up with no bootable devices, confirmed that the SSD is visible and not malfunctioning.

Tried swapping SSD from a known good working m725s and the same issue comes up.

(Also swapped the drive to the other computer and it boots fine)

Not sure if this would be bios related or other hardware causing it.

Re: Lenovo ThinkCentre M725s boot issue

Booting to network even though boot priorities in bios are all set to SSD, then CD, then USB.

Will not boot at all if network is removed from boot list.

Re: Lenovo ThinkCentre M725s boot issue

BIOS menu, go to Devices, network setup, disable the pxe choices (the 3 in the middle) save and reset, Problem solved. Smiley Happy

Re: Lenovo ThinkCentre M725s boot issue

I actually tried this before, it seemed to be the way I was imaging these (the program didn't like AMD based PC's)

I resolved it by getting recovery image and taking the pc back to factory that way.

Disabling PXE boot still didn't solve the issue it produced a 1962 no operating system found error.
