Sounds like it needs some updated device drivers installed.   I woudl start with installing the lastest video drivers and work up from there.

What OS are you running?

I was having the same issue and finally found the cause after two days. The intel ME firmware needs to be updated to solve the issue. However, Lenovo don't seem to have an ME firmware update for the M73 tiny, so what I had to do was to download the firmware update for the M93 tiny from the link below:

https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds040196

and download the "Intel ME 9.0 1.5MB Firmware v9.0.31.1487" bin file and "Intel MEI Drivers & Software Corporate v11.7.0.1069 (ME 9)" driver from the win-raid forum:

https://www.win-raid.com/t596f39-Intel-Management-Engine-Drivers-Firmware-amp-System-Tools.html

Install the drivers under windows, install the firmware update utility, and rename the downloaded bin file to be the same as the default bin file from the c:\drivers installation directory. Then replace the bin file inside the installation directory with the renamed bin file. Run the updateMEFW.bat script and wait till it finishes, then power down and turn on again and problem goes away.

This helped me too

I just want to post here, since no one responded to Midway2k, but if anyone else has this issue; this solution works! It's awesome they went to the effort to find the correct solution and share it.

To clarify the instructions slightly:

1.) Download the 3 listed files.

2.) Install "Intel MEI Drivers & Software Corporate v11.7.0.1069 (ME 9)" (It comes in a self extracting 7Z, that contains the installer)

3.) Run the 9.1.45.3000.exe downloaded from Lenovo.
4.) Extract the .rar that contains the correct .bin file.

5.) Rename the new .bin file to match the one in the folder created by step 3.

6.) Rename as .old or delete the existing .bin in the folder created by step 3.

7.) Move the renamed .bin from step 5 to the folder from step 3.

8.) Reboot (I had to reboot before the MEFW would install, results may vary, it relies upon components from step 2)

9.) After reboot run the "updateMEFW.bat" (I recommend running as administrator).

10.) This should bring up a CMD window and show that the firmware update steps are proceeding.

a.) If it just quickly comes up and disappears, look for an error.txt which should point to the issue.

b.) most likely you failed to rename the file properly, since the original one will not match the existing firmware.

c.) Unfortunately if you made a mistake you are best off to delete the folder from Step 3, then repeat the steps from 3 forward.

I was quite perplexed by this issue, and was recently given about a dozen of these, initially excited until 4 of them had this issue. I was ecstatic when I both found this post, and it worked.
